Another November B-Day Card

Wanted to post another November birthday card for my sister-in-law.  This was an attempt at creating a shabby chic card.  Hmmm...not sure if I succeeded, but it sure was fun to put together.  Thanks for stopping by.
Supplies used: Bazzill Basics cardstock, patterned paper The Girls' Paperie, Tim Holtz diamond-patterned stamp, Crafty Secrets sentiment & Glamour Girl embellishment, brads & rhinestones from Michaels, flowers by Prima and embossed leaves from Bazzill Basics.

Happy 21

November is not only a busy month for the beginning of the holiday season, but I also have 5 family members' birthdays to celebrate.  And as cardmakers know, we don't buy cards in any store--we make them!
I wanted to share a card I made for my niece's 21st birthday.  I let the patterned paper do the talking on this one and just added a few embellishments.  I've had this paper from BoBunny for a few months and I just love the color combos in this line.  Thanks for taking a look.
I used BoBunny Gypsy Line, chipboard numbers, teal and orange rhinestones from Michaels.

I'm Published!!!

Oh happy day!!  I am finally published!!  My "Cheers!" card was chosen to appear in Paper Crafts special issue of Card Creations-Favorite Occasions Vol. 2.  http://www.papercraftsmag.com/index.html
When I received my issue, I found my card and yep, I cried.  It's just an honor to have something you create appear in such a well-known magazine.  So here's to more creating, more submissions and challenges and yes, more publishing.  Have a great day everyone!
